Beth & Josh - Gower, Wales

Wild Horses and Wedding dresses.

Josh and Beth’s wedding was a beautiful and unforgettable celebration, showcasing the stunning landscapes of the Gower Peninsula and the timeless charm of Swansea. As a wedding photographer in Swansea, I had the pleasure of capturing their journey, from a dramatic pre-wedding photoshoot at Langland Bay to their Christian wedding ceremony and breathtaking reception at Perriswood.

Our adventure began at Langland Bay, where Josh and Beth braved the elements for an incredible pre-wedding shoot. The stormy skies and wild winds over the bay created a moody, cinematic backdrop, perfect for capturing the couple’s adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors. The rugged beauty of Langland, with its crashing waves and rocky shores, gave the photos a raw, emotional depth that truly reflected the couple's connection.

The wedding day itself was full of joy and intimate moments. The local Christian service was heartfelt and meaningful, with family and friends gathered to celebrate the couple's commitment to one another. After the ceremony, we took a detour on the way to Perriswood, stopping at the salt marshes for couples' portraits. The wide-open landscape and soft, natural light created serene, ethereal images. To add to the magic, we stumbled across wild horses on the mountains, a breathtaking and spontaneous moment that Josh and Beth embraced.

The reception at Perriswood, with its panoramic views over the Gower Peninsula, was a dream come true for any Swansea wedding photographer. The rolling hills, lush greenery, and sweeping coastline made for unforgettable wedding photography capturing the love and joy of Josh and Beth’s special day amidst the natural beauty of Gower.
